OpenWay is a VPN service that provides secure and private access to the internet. We operate under the alias DevBillo and can be reached via our Telegram bot @Thenkey_bot.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service:
- Email address — used for account identification and login. Optional: you can use anonymous registration.
- Password — stored as a secure hash (bcrypt). We never store plain-text passwords.
- Payment transaction ID — used to verify your USDT payment and activate your subscription. We do not store credit card or bank information.
- Subscription status — whether your account is free or premium, and when it expires.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
OpenWay operates a strict no-log policy:

5. Data Storage & Security
- Your data is stored on a secure server in Helsinki, Finland (EU)
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — they cannot be reversed
- All connections use TLS encryption
- Server access is restricted to key-only SSH authentication
- VPN server logs are set to warning level only and are automatically deleted after 2 days
6. Payments & Crypto
OpenWay accepts payments in USDT (Tether) cryptocurrency on the TRC20/Tron network. We store only the transaction ID to verify your payment. We do not have access to your crypto wallet, private keys, or any other financial information.
7. Third-Party Services
OpenWay uses the following third-party services:
- Telegram — for bot-based distribution and support (@Thenkey_bot)
- GitHub — for distributing the Android APK (wwwOpenway account)
- Cloudflare Pages — for hosting this website (vpnopenway.pages.dev)
- TronGrid API — for verifying USDT payments on the blockchain
- Hetzner — for VPN server hosting (Helsinki, Finland)
Each of these services has their own privacy policy. We do not control their data practices.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the following rights under GDPR:
- Right to access — you can request what data we hold about you
- Right to deletion — you can request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Right to correction — you can request correction of inaccurate data

9. Data Retention
- Account data is retained as long as your account is active
- VPN server logs (warning level only) are automatically deleted after 2 days
- Payment records are retained for accounting purposes

OpenWay is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
